Registered Nurses can:

• Help you to learn to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, lung disease and high blood pressure;

• Help you to understand how to manage your medications or health symptoms

• Give immunizations, allergy shots, TB tests, and flu shots;

• Clean your ears with a syringe, remove stitches, and change dressings (bandages);

• Take your blood pressure;

• Provide smoking cessation counselling;

• Oversee a well baby visits and periodic health exams.
